Peter S Rabinovitch M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor of Pathology at the University of Washington, and a Joint Member of the FHCRC. He is the Director of the U. of W. Anatomic Pathology Washington Flow Cytometry Laboratory. Working with the Seattle Barrett's Esophagus Program since 1984, he has been instrumental in demonstrating that flow cytometric DNA content analysis can be used to detect a subset of patients with Barrett's esophagus who are at increased risk for developing cancer. His present research interests include finding the causes of early genomic and chromosomal instability in Barrett's Esophagus.
