The Seattle Barrett's Esophagus Research Team

Robert D Odze M.D., FRCPc is a nationally recognized gastrointestinal pathologist at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School with special expertise in Barrett's esophagus, including histopathologic diagnosis, immunohistochemical research and molecular investigations. He has been the pathologist for the Seattle Barrett's Esophagus Study since July 1, 2001.
Jonathan N Glickman M.D., Ph.D. is a pathologist with subspecialty training in gastrointestinal pathology, and a PhD in cell biology. Investigating the expression of markers of epithelial differentiation such as mucin glycoproteins and transcription factors in metaplastic and dysplastic epithelium, as a means to understand the cell of origin of Barrett's esophagus and the cellular mechanisms of metaplasia.
